Brittany Martin, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2019. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and her special fields of interest include retinal pathology and dry eye disease.
At the age of ten, Dr. Martin got her first pair of glasses and immediately knew she wanted to become an optometrist. She was amazed by the power of vision and how a simple pair of glasses could improve someone’s quality of life so drastically. From that moment on, she was inspired to be the person who helped people live their best lives with their best vision.
Dr. Martin strives to meet patients with compassion, kindness, and a determination for finding a solution to any of their visual needs and concerns. She loves helping her patients on their journey of maintaining healthy eyes in a way that also improves their quality of life.
When Dr. Martin is not treating patients, she loves to read and spend time with her husband, their rescue dog Pearl, and her family. She also enjoys the outdoors, as well as traveling, going to concerts, trying new restaurants, and watching football.
